Information Guide to Statistical Process Control

Statistical Process Control Training

The following groups benefit statistical process control training for Six Sigma:

Quality Managers
Quality Managers help implement Six Sigma methodology within their specific area. Quality managers and leaders receive Master Black Belt training and mentor process and project managers in the organization.

Process Managers
Process managers are also called sponsors and champions and report to senior management. Depending on time, process managers may receive Black Belt training.

Project Managers
Project managers implement the Six Sigma methodology within their business. They lead projects, maintain schedules, project budgets and tool use. Project managers receive Black Belt training.

Individual Contributors
Individual contributors, the rank-and-file employees, often take Six Sigma Green Belt training, as do part-time project leaders. Green Belts take courses that are shorter in duration and that do not include education on many statistical process control tools and software.
